Amcotts Absolute Charmer
of Sheriffmuir
D.O.B: 20/08/05
is our first 'Dog' obtained from Mr & Mrs J. Hand's
renowned "Amcotts" show kennel
based in Scotter Common, North Lincolnshire.
Bracken is out of 'Goldmarker Head Over Heels I'm At Amcotts'.
He was sired by Sh Ch 'Golmas Governor'.
He is as mischievous as they come but as his Pedigree Name states he is an 'Absolute Charmer' so gets away with most things. He has the biggest droopiest Puppy Dog eyes that just make it impossible to be mad or angry at him for any length of time.
He loves playing with both our Girls and his nature is somewhere in between both of theirs so he has great fun with both of them from different perspectives. At times he is like Melody a carefree loveable lump that just wants to be cuddled and not be expected to act like a retriever and run after things and bring them back to you and other times he will tussle with Kerry over a toy or tug and race her to try and be the first to get to a stick you've thrown. Not that he will always bring it back even for a biscuit if something else takes his fancy instead. He might like to think that he is
'Top Dog' but Kerry keeps him in his place.
He is so full of fun and energy and there is never a dull moment when he is around.
In his show career so far he has been consistently placed in both Open and Championship shows winning a few classes and has already qualified for Crufts 2007.
Of all the things that he loves, 'Oven Gloves' are top of the list. We never lost one to the girls but in four months we managed to go through four of them. You just need to leave it lying for a minute and he is away with it, out the door as fast as lightning. He has been a superb addition to our Golden Family and we look forward to seeing how he develops over the next couple of years and hopefully then using him as the Sire for Kerry and Melody's future litters.
He has really taken to our new puppies 'Bailey' and 'Candy' who love to play with and follow him about everywhere.
